Salman Farooqi

Born in Karachi, Salman Farooqi graduated with distinction from the Karachi School of Art. He also studied under Iqbal Mehdi, a senior, renowned Pakistani artist. Salman’s artworks radiate refreshing colors and forms, which are organized on the canvas in spontaneously created geometric configurations with smooth textured lines overlapping and traversing the canvas with ease. His canvases are balanced and eye-catching with rich color palettes and bold compositions, which are aesthetically pleasing. Salman’s works of landscapes focus on impressionism and this technique has gained him acclaim and worldwide recognition.

Samra Malik

Samra is a talented calligraphy artist from Abbottabad, Pakistan. Her artworks depict a perfect harmony between nature and calligraphy. Different mediums allow her to express different ideas. M. Kazim

The late Mohammad Kazim was a renowned painter, printmaker and calligrapher. Kazim gained popularity for his Indus Valley and Mohenjo-Daro series of artworks and his depictions of women from that era. He would mold the figures with his hands using mulmul cloth and handmade paper and vegetable dyes. The figures would almost protrude in a 3D effect while the colors would be textured in soft hues.

Behzad Warsi

Hailing from Karachi, Pakistan, Behzad is on the forefront of the younger generation of Pakistani artists. He transforms colors on the canvas into mesmerizing stances. The starkness of the red and black colors of his artworks command attention. He is the recipient of a gold medal in Fine Arts from the Arts Council of Pakistan in 2022.
