Abrar Ahmed
Abrar is a self-taught artist following in the footsteps of Sadequain and Gulgee. He is a prolific artist who fuses contemporary styles with the romance of classical miniature art. His artworks are multidimensional composing of musical instruments, birds, sinuous female forms, small tiles, vibrant leaves and flowers. The usage of vibrant colors, traditional ethnic patterns and textures bring the paintings to life.

A.S. Rind
Rind’s artworks illustrate female forms in a classical setting with traditional attire and ornaments. These classic symbols are often paired with Urdu poetry by the great masters Mirza Ghalib, Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Alama Iqbal. Moving seamlessly between acrylic on paper, oil on canvas and ink on paper the artist demonstrates enhanced understanding of line, form and color.

M. Kazim
The late Mohammad Kazim was a renowned painter, printmaker and calligrapher. Kazim gained popularity for his Indus Valley and Mohenjo-Daro series of artworks and his depictions of women from that era. He would mold the figures with his hands using mulmul cloth and handmade paper and vegetable dyes. The figures would almost protrude in a 3D effect while the colors would be textured in soft hues.

M. Shafique Rana
