Behzad Warsi

A painter, an art restorer, art scholar, film maker, art photographer, TV anchor, Founder President of The Visual and Performing Arts Forum Pakistan (NGO), Ashkal is an adept and highly gifted artist. His mentor, Iqbal Mehdi left a lasting impression on him and encouraged Ashkal to explore figurative art. His artworks exhibit straight lines and angles in figurative forms and intelligent use of vibrant colors blended in soft hues.

Uzma Ali is a talented artists whose stunning artworks of the twirling darwish have gained her worldwide acclaim. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from the prestigious Karachi School of Arts. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Uzma also has a background in textile design. She has served as a Textile Designer at Chemitex Industries.

Wardah is a charcoal portrait artist whose works are deeply rooted in emotion, storytelling and human connection. She began exploring charcoal as a medium and developed a passion for its depth, texture and the ability to capture raw human expressions. Her artworks focus on emotionally driven portraits capturing the depth of old age, meaningful moments, experiences of a life gone by and untold stories.

Wahab Jaffer is one of Pakistan’s most renowned abstract artists who explores the female form with a contemporary approach using bold, striking color palate and cubist depiction. He trained under the renowned Ali Imam in 1970s and established for himself a worldwide recognition for his style. Feminine faces, birds and vases dominate his style. A closer inspection of his works reveal how the artist uses a cubist approach to simplify the female figure that encaptures the viewer’s attention. His bold style draws attention to the forms in his artworks with stark detailed headwear, hair accessories and birds.
